Interfaith Services

 As ordained interfaith ministers, Karen and Roger offer their services to the community at large for ceremonies that honor one particular tradition, more than one tradition, or none.  We also are available for spiritual counseling that offers professional guidance and skill, a genuine openness to serving your needs, and a compassionate and loving presence.

    Make your ceremony the centerpiece of your wedding day. Whether it is interfaith or nondenominational, long or brief, traditional or nontraditional, it is your moment of joyful promise to celebrate. We will work with you to create a ceremony that reflects the unique and beautiful characteristics of your love and that fits your needs and wishes.  It will be a process full of joy, discernment, and grace.

  • Renewal of Wedding Vows -                                                                                                            Marriages are larger than the two people they join. Yours has grown over the years 
    and charted its own unique course, so a recommitment ceremony provides a time to celebrate your past and future life as a loving, committed couple.

  •        Funerals -                                                                                                                                                          The death of a loved one can disrupt our normal view of the world and raise questions in us about the real meaning and purpose of life. Every human being is challenged by the departure of a loved one. As ministers, we can make the task ahead more bearable, and create a funeral service that can hold your grief and sorrow, as well as help you recall the joy and celebration in life that you and your loved one shared. An interfaith funeral can be sensitively created combining the traditions and rituals that are important to you, your departed loved one, and your family and friends.                                                                                                                                  
  • Spiritual Counseling -                                                                                                                       Spiritual counseling is an opportunity for you to receive direction and promote the spiritual growth you envision. We assist you in coming to know yourself, explore spiritual concerns or difficulties, and help to enhance your sense of wholeness and well-being. The goal of this work is to strengthen your spiritual foundation and encourage forgiveness, love and inner peace. We bring experience and wisdom to this process as well as deep listening and openness in a safe and compassionate setting.
